|
|
Hey Everyone
Im designing a new wakeskate for a school project and i have to do all this research on a target market (all you guys) about what you want in a wakeskate. So ive came here for help Im mainly just gonna ask questions on the specs and slims of what you look for in a wakeskate.
Basically im in search of the Greatest Overall all-round Board!
1. What length of wakeskate would you prefer?
2. What width (if you know) would you prefer?
3. What size rocker do you prefer? Rocker Style (3 Stage Rocker)?
4. Do you like Concave on your wakeskates?
5. Grip tape or Foam deck?
6. Fins or No Fins? If Fins, Size?
7. Which brands of wakeskates do you like best?
8. Weight in your Wakeskate? Ply or Composite?
Thankyou, thats all. Can as many people as possible post in reply to these questions and if by some chance this info has been recorded somewhere already and you know where, could you post me a link or PM me or somthing
Cheers Everyone.

2. What width (if you know) would you prefer?
Like integs
3. What size rocker do you prefer? Rocker Style (3 Stage Rocker)?
3 stage
4. Do you like Concave on your wakeskates?

grip...
6. Fins or No Fins? If Fins, Size?
Tried fins again for a few days... it's a big nono for me. No fins!
7. Which brands of wakeskates do you like best?
Cassette, Integrity, and can't wait to check out Omen's deck
8. Weight in your Wakeskate? Ply or Composite?
Wood, and a weight between the integ and the bi. One is a lil too light, one is a lil too heavy. Make a board that's in between and your golden IMO... _________________

I like the foam decks( I still have scars from riding on griptape) I also really like the integrity boards. They feel more like a skateboard. Just my 2cents |

Yo. I like grip tape on wud at 41" with concave and a 3stage rocker definetly put some holes for fins(optional). I always rock fins about 1" and you should try an asymmetrical design. Make the width of the nose about 2-4 inches wider than the tail. Having all that board on the nose gives your front foot something to hide behind and control your skate and the narrower tail gives you some looseness and some quick carvability. Good luck Grudge. _________________ dbanana wrote:
