As usual a quick attack from Scott A without really knowing what he's talking about.When you talk about reimbursement do you think there's money there?The money for these movies comes from sponsorships,whether it's for production or the riders.Production does not pay the riders to ride,the riders sponsors do because of the exposure they recieve.
I've worked in the ski [snow] and snowboard movie buiss for years and this is how it works there.Somehow I think there's even less money around [which aint a whole lot] in the wake industry seeing as these are way less mainstream sports.Anyways it's pretty typical for any grass roots movie company to ask for a lot of freebies.And if you're looking to get exposed then it can be worth your while.
