OK all u ppl, this is the scoop on oak wakeskates. Cary K. u know your stuff.....................I ride with 2 of the team ridders, they are really good and 1 of them is a strapper, but NO DAMN hatting, the kid can throw a ts 9!!!!!  , don't believe me??? www.wakepics.com Alex Hamrick......................Anyway the company is ligit and all of yall need to give them credit b/c this is an area in NC where ppl think wakeboarding is tubbing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ..............wanna know more about oak wakeskates, just ask me |

| ummm is one of oaks really good team riders the kid in the video? cause honestly parky can stomp better than him, maybe not w2w but holy mother of pearl, i wish i could go out and do surface spins in and out of tricks and get free boards |

wake_junkie, he's not just bashing a wakeskater... he's making a comment about the fact that the co puts a video on their site with one of their pro throwing surface spins in and out of tricks...
So yeah, that's not a very good point for the co in question, just my 2 cents 
edit: now I have seen the vid... So yeah, not that impressive for a demo video... I really like the board graphics tho 
I also wish I'd get free decks for surface spins... I would be ashamed of sliding out blind from a lip slide 
ps: not hating... ^^

You guys are unbelievable. You preach ROC, and not hating, etc... but here is a start up ROC, and all you can do is pick it apart and find all of the negativity in it. If I'm not mistaken, the guy (Ryan) in the video on the website is part of Oak. He has put his time and I'm sure money into this, so they won't be just free boards to him. It will be something he has worked for. I also never saw anywhere that anyone claimed him to be a PRO.
And to say that you would be ashamed to do something is just lame as hell. That guy was out riding and having a damn good time, and he did throw some nice tricks in between his spins, but all you can do is find what you want to hate on, and then throw a PS saying you are not hating.
Also in every "I wanna be sponsored" thread, you always say it's not all about the riding, its what you have to offer the company, how you portray yourself, etc... How is this any different.
I'm sure both of you guys that I quoted can ride really well, but your comments make you sound like jealous haters cause you aren't getting free shizz. Just ride and be happy.

I had nothing to do with the boards, the graphics or anything. I am not associated with Oak in any way, other than knowing Mike T and a few of their local riders. My post had nothing to do with knowing them or not, other than the fact that I KNOW it is a ROC.
