WaKeSk8Er1234 brought up an interesting topic in a different thread about going to OWC just to watch people ride. I never thought of going there ust to watch because it would be so hard for me not to go ride. Although, I have sat around and watched while taking a break from riding and I've always seen some good riding and funny crashes.

Do any of you ever go to OWC or any other cable park/lake just to watch others ride, instead of riding with them?

I couldn't do that unless I was injured. I think I have gone with the intent of just watching but once there you just start feeling it and have to ride. my .02 any way.

I would never go to a cable park just to watch!
But while taking a break or waiting for my turn, I love to watch other dudes landing tricks or falling. Especially falling and especially face planting...
Watching your buddies and laughing at them is one of the best aspects of wakeskating.

Dave Barousse, no problem I was just clearing it up a bit, oh yeah medic, if your under 16 then its $35.50 if your over 16 its $40.50. If you guys havent already you really should go down to OWC its so much fun, plus its really fun to watch and learn from the other wakeskaters!!

wakesk8er1234, since when is the prices go by if your over 16 or under it? I have never heard of that...

I have gone just to watch...but that was only when I was injured and not allowed...and when I burned my self out, and just went to hang out with my friends

greg van wagnen, same here my wetsuit is to small on me so sometimes the water is cold as crap and i maybe ride a little and mostly watch!!!

I would much rather ride but watching is fun too. Last month Daniel Lovett and Brian Grubb came out to OWC after we were done riding and a few of us stuck around and watched.
I was forced to watch much of the summer due to an arm injury. The first time out I wanted to ride so bad I tucked my arm that was in a cast under a rash guard and rode around with one arm. It was hard getting pulled out of the hole with one arm though so it kinda sucked
