ive seen a couple threads about ppl painting their skates but nothing where theres a thread with a whole bunch of pics of painted skates. anyways heres my k39. the green is a little darker then what it shows, its just the lighting.

before...

after...

basically what i did is left the before skate out in the sun all day then at the end of the day went and took a hair dryer and it all hlped in taking the foam off, then i sanded off a little, i shoulda sanded off alot of the kampus logo on the back cause i had to use alot of paint to cover it and it kinda looks a little messy in that area. after i sanded a little i covered up the fin holes with tape then started painting, i probably did 4-5 coats on the front and 8-9 coats on the back. after it was done drying i took the grip tape and rolled it on the board not having any kind of design in mind, then i took my knife and started cutting the excess grip off and then i cut the little hole out where the fin screws in. and then i was done...basically it was the half ass way to regrip and paint a skate Razz

anyone have any suggestions for a design on the bottom?

I'm repainting my k-39 as well since I have bum knee and can't ride for a few more weeks.

I just bought a airbrush the other day so hopefully I can get good enough with it to put somethin nasty on the bottom sooner or later...or maybe not.
