|
|
I did numerous searches about board length, but could not find any solid answers that equated body wieght and hieght with board length.
My girlfriend just purchased a Liquid Force Impulse 43 for my birthday. I was not sure if I should go with a 41. Im 6'1 and a fit 205lbs. I have skateboarded for about 23 yrs so Im hoping I will feel pretty comfortable on a wakeskate. Will the 41" support me. I feel the flickabilty of a shorter board may be good, but was worried that it just may be too small.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Well I dont ride yet, but I will. I just ordered a new tow boat that will be here in July.
Im looking for people to ride with. I will be riding everyday after work and all day thurs and fridays. Im willing to tow my boat to havasu if I find enough people to ride with down there. |

dude screw that age is a state of mind rock out, congrats on the boat as well, I have always found length to be all preference Im 6' 1" and 225, and I ride a 39.5, but my friend is about 10-20 lbs lighter than me and he rides a 42, so do what makes ya grin I say, but I will say this, if you have a skate background you will feel better on a smaller board I think _________________ why dont you try playing hide and go Fvck yourself |

spinwax,
its all about personal prefrence (sp?). ive ridden a 39.5 wakeskate and enjoyed the way it carved but felt extemely uncomfortable in the air and on landings. if you are new to the sport i say stick with your 43. BESIDES! your girlfriend bought you a board...if you exchange it for another you'd lose brownie points with her!
and when you get that boat...bring it on down to havasu. we got plenty of riders to put in it for ya. i'll take care of the photography! kraProductions.com _________________ www.kraProductions.com

Wow, thanks for all of the replies.
Ahhh, the girlfriend wouldnt know if I traded it for a different size. She just wants to see me happy. I know most of the guys on here like Integrity, Kampus and Casette, I hope the Impulse is Ok.
Yeah, the boat will be here mid of July. I have been planning a trip to Havasu. I would like to go for 4 days. thurs, fri, sat and sun. |
